Hi, I'm Martijn, a tech professional by day and a photographer whenever I get the chance. I make images to capture what it felt like to be there, and to let others enjoy those rare, unique moments in nature.

My work spans landscapes, cityscapes, nightscapes, wildlife, and people. From the stillness of a mountain valley to the pulse of a night-time street, I aim to share the world as I see it.

Photography is how I hold onto the feeling of a moment and how I share it. My goal is not just to revisit memories, but to bring you into the same fleeting experiences: the hush before dawn, an aurora swelling over a fjord, waves breaking on black sand.

I'm happiest when I'm scouting for viewpoints and building a frame that matches the picture in my head. I love the outdoors and the challenge of turning real conditions into a photograph that resonates. Each trip teaches me to see differently, and I hope the images help you see differently too.
